It's called bare, a new coming-of-age musical that deals with what it means to be a teenager at a catholic boarding school. Questions abound, prayers seem unanswered... and the message albeit hidden behind the music, the laughter and tears is that "it gets better".
So that's coming tomorrow night! If you want to read more about the production of bare by Minneapolis Musical Theater, or to purchase tickets at the venue (Illusion Theater at 6th and Hennepin, Minneapolis) just follow the links. And to see what the critics say, check the StarTribune review.
Lastly, I want to share another blog of a fellow cast member of bare who is also an active musical director here in the Twin Cities. He has quite the insights to the challenges of these two very different roles he plays Meet Andy - and read about a day in his life.
